About The Lowcountry Cleaning Lady
Our Story
Hey everyone my name is Heidi and this is my story...
I am very excited and appreciative of all of the support I have received over the years on this adventure. A wise person once told me, "Bet on yourself, you will never loose" and I am over the moon to do just that.
I was honorably discharged from the Marines in 2015. Since then, I have been a Paralegal in the Lowcountry. Being a Paralegal was never my goal or dream. It was simply a means to fill the everyday life bill void. I have dedicated my life to the legal field just shy of seven years and I am beyond ready to "bet on myself" and do something that I know is needed in every household.
In those seven years I have juggled being a wife, momma, a paralegal, and a step mom to three more kiddos! To say I understand there are not enough hours in a day is a UNDERSTATEMENT. I GET IT. I wanted to do something I love (cleaning and organizing, thanks Marine Corps) but also be able to help out every family dynamic as I have fit every dynamic myself.
Being able to come home to a clean home is a very underrated happiness especially for moms. I was constantly battling myself with the idea of deep cleaning one room a night OR taking that time to go on a bike ride with my daughter or simply be still and LISTEN to what she has to say. I realize now, that, that should never be an option. But sadly, for a lot of people this is the every day reality. Quality time with your family OR not letting the cleaning creep up on you. Both tough choices.
Fear not, it does not have to be a tough choice. Let me help you. Let me help your family. You deserve it and so do they.
